用途：本品仅供科研，不得用于其它用途。

DPPH一种稳定的自由基，是暗紫色棱柱状结晶。最大吸收波长528nm。
DPPH具有三种不同的结晶形态，不同的结晶形态，它们的晶格对称性和熔点（m.p.）存在差异。具体如下：DPPH-Ⅰ（m.p. 106°C）是正交晶系，DPPH-Ⅱ(m.p. 137°C)是无定形态，DPPH-Ⅲ（m.p. 128-129°C）是三斜晶系。通常的商品化的粉末是不同晶相的混合物，熔点在127-129°C。
DPPH法用于定量测定生物试样和食品的抗氧化能力是1958年被提出的。DPPH自由基有单电子，其醇溶液呈紫色的特性，在517nm处有一强吸收。当有自由基清除剂存在时，由于与其单电子配对而使其吸收逐渐消失，其褪色程度与其接受的电子数量成定量关系，因而可用分光光度计进行快速的定量分析。


其他主要生物化学应用：
（1）光度测定生育酚和脂肪族硫醇类；
（2）还原物质的分析试剂；
（3）阻聚剂。


注意事项：DPPH具有刺激性。吸入、口服或皮肤接触有害。使用应穿适当的防护服和戴手套
