Introduction： IL-25是一种细胞因子，与IL-17A（也叫IL-17）、IL-17B、IL-17C、IL-17D和IL-17F一起属于IL-17细胞因子家族。所有成员都有同源的氨基酸序列片段和空间上保守的半胱氨酸。正是IL-25在功能和结构上与其他成员不同。IL-25有一个异质二聚体受体。该受体由两个亚单位IL-17RA和IL-17RB组成。IL-17RA亚单位也是IL-17A和IL-17F的共同点。而IL-17RB也是IL-17B所共有的。这两个亚单位受体对IL-25的功能都是必不可少的。IL-25由许多细胞类型产生。这些细胞包括T细胞、树突状细胞、巨噬细胞、肥大细胞、嗜碱性细胞、嗜酸性细胞、上皮细胞和Paneth细胞。
