Introduction： 白细胞介素17（IL-17),又称CTLA-8,是一种T细胞表达的多态性细胞因子，与疱疹病毒Saimiri的ORF13基因编码的蛋白质有高度的同源性。编码IL-17的cDNA克隆已从活化的大鼠、小鼠和人类T细胞中分离出来。人的IL-17的cDNA编码一个155个氨基酸（a.a.）残基的前体蛋白，有一个19个氨基酸残基的信号肽，被裂解后产生136个a.a.残基的成熟IL-17，含有一个潜在的N-连接的糖基化位点。重组的和天然的IL-17都被证明是以二硫连接的同质体存在。
