Introduction： 谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶 4，也被称为 GPX4，由 GPX4 基因编码的酶。GPX4 是 一种磷脂过氧化物酶，可保护细胞免受膜脂质过氧化的影响。抗氧化酶谷胱 甘肽过氧化物酶 4（GPX4）属于谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶家族，该家族由 8 种已 知的哺乳动物同功酶（GPX1-8）组成。GPX4 催化还原过氧化氢、有机氢过 氧化物和脂质过氧化物，以牺牲还原型谷胱甘肽为代价，并在保护细胞免受 氧化压力方面发挥作用。谷胱甘肽的氧化形式（谷胱甘肽二硫化物），在 GPX4 还原氢过氧化物的过程中产生，被谷胱甘肽还原酶和 NADPH/H+回收。 GPX4 与其他 GPX 家族成员的不同之处在于其单体结构，对谷胱甘肽作为还 原底物的依赖性较小，以及在生物膜内还原脂质过氧化物的能力。GPX4 的 失活会导致脂质过氧化物的积累，从而导致铁质细胞死亡。
