Introduction：

异丙基-β-D-硫代半乳糖苷,英文名称IPTG。为安慰性诱导物，X-gal为生色底物，二者共同用于蓝白斑筛选。IPTG可诱导载体lac操纵子DNA区段合成β-半乳糖苷酶氨基端片段，该片段可与宿主细胞编码的缺陷型β-半乳糖苷酶实现基因内互补(α互补)。实现α互补的细菌暴露IPTG，铺在含有X-gal生色底物的培养基上，可形成蓝色菌落。外源DNA插入质粒的多克隆位点后可破坏α互补作用,将产生白色菌落。

湿度(%)：≤1.0 pH (5%, 水)25℃：5-7

溶解性：IPTG贮存液，先在8ml蒸馏水中溶解2g，定溶至10ml，用0.22um滤器过滤除菌，贮存于-20℃。
