葡萄糖可以抑制半乳糖诱导的蛋白表达，SG–Ura 为不含葡萄糖，含有半乳糖的酵母诱导用培养基，是一种由确定成分组成的全合成酵母培养基。SG–Ura 只缺失尿嘧啶，含有除尿嘧啶外的 1 5 种必需氨基酸和腺嘌呤，可用于 pESC-URA、pYES2/CT、pYES2/NT、pYC2/CT、pYC2/NT 等质粒的诱导表达。
