测定意义：

糖类物质是构成植物体的重要组成成分之一，也是新陈代谢的主要原料和贮存物质。总糖也可称为碳水化合物，包括可溶性的单糖，二糖以及不溶性的淀粉，纤维素，几丁质等。

测定原理：

总糖酸水解为还原糖，在 NaOH 和丙三醇存在下，DNS 试剂与还原糖共热后被还原成氨基

化合物，在过量的 NaOH 碱性溶液中呈桔红色，在 540nm 处有最大吸收峰，以此测定样品中的总糖含量。
